π RACI & CODE-KS¶
Clear roles, clear accountability
RACI for cross-department work. CODE-KS for in-department processes. Simple frameworks that keep everyone aligned.
π RACI Matrix (Cross-Department)¶
The RACI matrix tracks accountability across departments. It shows who's responsible for tasks, who approves them, who needs to be consulted, and who stays informed. Every member knows their role and can stay updated on progress.
ποΈ The 6 RACI Roles¶
Most teams use 4 roles. We use 6 to capture knowledge sharing and support:
Responsible
The person who completes the task or project.
Accountable
The individual accountable for execution and final approval.
Consulted
Experts whose opinion is sought during the project.
Informed
Individuals who need updates on progress.
Support
Someone who offers support with specific processes or concepts.
Knowledge-Lead
Responsible for documenting and delivering training on the process.
π₯ CODE-KS Matrix (Within Department)¶
The CODE-KS matrix defines accountability for in-department processes. It clarifies who owns each part of a workflow, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear responsibility within teams.
